Besides everything which has been suggested, another thing which _may_
work is to use a login trigger which checks the environment (V$SESSION),
and more specifically which program runs, and raises an error if it
doesn't happen to be what is allowed. The snag is that the information
in 'program' is not always sufficient (can be a DLL name), and the
trigger fires too early to be able to check something set by
dbms_application_info().
