I you are talking about Magic - application development tool, we are working
with it.
It is used in Israel and somewhat in Europe.
It usually use Btrieve but can use Oracle as a database.

In fact, the question that I posted about partitioning on part of a field is
converting
one of our Magic applications to use Oracle.

We had no problems with Magic that is run from the client PC.
We have some problems with the Intranet version of Magic.
It seems that it hangs from time to time.
