You are correct but that is not where I am getting the  ORA_000904 Invalid
Column Error.  That was a typo on my part because I originally had the
tables named 'a' and 'b'  but renamed them for readability and I thought it
may correct the error.

It is occurring where I try to join the tables.

Logout.pc_session_id = Launch.pc_session_id.

That is why I am confused about why it is occurring

I have the following SQL Statement but am getting and ORA-00904 Invalid
Column Error.  What Could I be doing wrong?

SELECT
  Launch.oc_session_id
FROM
  pt_client_eventdetails launch,
  pt_client_eventdetails logout
WHERE
   a.pc_session_user_name = 'tsokol'
   and (logout.pc_event_op = 'LAUNCH' and logout.pc_event_op <> 'LOGOUT'
and
logout.pc_event_op <> 'SOLUTION_VIEWED')
   and  launch.pc_session_id = logout.pc_session_id
