Rick - Does this query find the blocks used since the last RMAN backup? Or
some other criteria like since the instance was started?

To find used blocks within a table

                                                                   SELECT
COUNT (DISTINCT

DBMS_ROWID.ROWID_BLOCK_NUMBER(rowid)||

DBMS_ROWID.ROWID_RELATIVE_FNO(rowid))
                                                                   "Used"

                                                                       FROM
schema.table;

Hi
As we all know RMAN backs up only the used blocks in the database.Was
wondering if there is any way to query the database to find out if a block
is used or not so as to find out how much of the database is currently
being used ?

TIA
