domain indexes are handled in a different manner - don't forget that a
domain index consists of several tables and indexes

u need to create a data storage for the index, and set proper attributes to
it

browse manuals for ctxsys.ctx_ddl.create_preference() and
ctxsys.ctx_ddl.set_attribute() and take a look at "Specifying Storage
Attributes" from
http://tahiti.oracle.com/pls/db901/db901.tabbed?section=103195

then u should be able to use something like

ALTER INDEX xxx REBUILD PARAMETERS('storage MYSTORAGE') ;

...where MYSTORAGE is the storage created on the previous step with the
proper tablespace attributes
