Yes, this one will get a lot of traffic, I'll bet. I just looked in the 8.1.7 docs (SQL Reference - Storage Clause) and it says that the minimum INITIAL is 2 DB blocks for non-bitmapped segments, 3 for bitmapped segments. The minimum for NEXT is 1 DB block.
