Hi all, Back on the list after being away for a while. I'm currently at a new client where things are to done yesterday (as usual).
We must move data (1Gig) from a staging area to the final area, tables have integrity constraints and tables contain CLOB datatypes. The 2 areas are in 2 different schemas (but I can change that). Oracle 817/Sun Before testing, I see 4 ways to do it : 1. Exchange partition 2. Disable constraint, truncate/insert, enable constraint 3. Create new partition, insert (append), drop partition 4. CTAS, create constraints, rename tables Been there ?
