I just downloaded 817solaris.cpio.gz (661 mb) from otn thinking I would burn a cd from the cpio output, Disk1. The image is 800MB and won't fit on my sissy 700MB cdr. Is there a way to split this data up such that the install will not fail? I used:
mkisofs -J -l -R -o cdimage.iso ./Disk1 to produce: 801710080 Apr 23 11:38 cdimage.iso Disk1]$ du -sk * 6420 acroread 8748 doc 12 index.htm 116 install 16 lsm 20 oidupgrade 4196 opspatch 404 response 4 runInstaller 769872 stage =============================================================== Ray Stell [EMAIL PROTECTED] (540) 231-4109 KE4TJC 28^D -- Please see the official ORACLE-L FAQ: http://www.orafaq.com -- Author: Ray Stell INET: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Fat City Network Services -- (858) 538-5051 FAX: (858) 538-5051 San Diego, California -- Public Internet access / Mailing Lists -------------------------------------------------------------------- To REMOVE yourself from this mailing list, send an E-Mail message to: [EMAIL PROTECTED] (note EXACT spelling of 'ListGuru') and in the message BODY, include a line containing: UNSUB ORACLE-L (or the name of mailing list you want to be removed from).
