I just downloaded 817solaris.cpio.gz (661 mb) from otn thinking
I would burn a cd from the cpio output, Disk1. The image
is 800MB and won't fit on my sissy 700MB cdr. Is there
a way to split this data up such that the install will not
fail? I used:

mkisofs -J -l -R -o cdimage.iso ./Disk1

to produce:

801710080 Apr 23 11:38 cdimage.iso

Disk1]$ du -sk *

6420 acroread
8748 doc
12 index.htm
116 install
16 lsm
20 oidupgrade
4196 opspatch
404 response
4 runInstaller
769872 stage
