Hi Stephane... I looked on metalink and saw some references to this error... And almost all of them are on DEC Unix...
http://metalink.oracle.com/metalink/plsql/ml2_documents.showDocument?p_datab ase_id=BUG&p_id=765763 Is a decent start... But, there are several bugs about this... The above bug seems to suggest that the error is on the client side in how the first row was handled... I searched Google for it, and found Perl:DBI threads about it, but no answer (in my case, it's caused by an OCI program). Doesn't seem to be in message files (oerr returns nothing, neither with 8.1.7 nor 9i). Baffled. -- Regards, Stephane Faroult Oriole Software -- Please see the official ORACLE-L FAQ: http://www.orafaq.com -- Author: Stephane Faroult INET: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Fat City Network Services -- (858) 538-5051 FAX: (858) 538-5051 San Diego, California -- Public Internet access / Mailing Lists -------------------------------------------------------------------- To REMOVE yourself from this mailing list, send an E-Mail message to: [EMAIL PROTECTED] (note EXACT spelling of 'ListGuru') and in the message BODY, include a line containing: UNSUB ORACLE-L (or the name of mailing list you want to be removed from).
