Hi,

If my memory is good, it was in 1998-99 with Oracle 8,
we were using stored proc with dynamic pl/sql. I do
not recall that it was taking long. Everything was
done with dynamic pl/sql : tablespace creation,
partition creation,...

Our partitions were not big, between 200M and 800M.
