this should fix yr problem. EITHER you downgrade binutils rpm -Uvh --force --nodeps binutils-2.10.0.18-1.i386.rpm
(in case you don't have it from rh70 get it from ftp.redhat.com) and try to relink OR # vi $ORACLE_HOME/bin/genclntsh search for the line: LD_SELF_CONTAINED="-z defs" and edited so that it reads LD_SELF_CONTAINED="" after that started entered # cd $ORACLE_HOME/bin/ # relink all >>> [EMAIL PROTECTED] 05/17/02 06:34 AM >>> Hi, The install of Oracle9i on Redhat 7.2 went well but had problems during the relinking phase.
