file  $ORACLE_HOME/bin/oracle

You should receive something like ELF 32-bit MSB executable SPARC Version1, dynamically linked not stripped.

Which command I have to run to findout Installed oracle running under 32 bit
or 64 bit???
Oracle 8.1.7.0 or 8.1.6.2 my OS sun solaris, running under 64 bit now
