Chris: It can be done, but Oracle, from my understanding, does not officially support this. Remember, in their eyes, disk is cheap. Here is a synopsis of what is needed.
1. After the database is built, create a copy of the $ORACLE_HOME/rdbms/admin/sql.bsq file. This contains the create scripts for the data dictionary; hence, the "aud$" table and indexes are here. 2. Create another tablespace for these tables. 3. Drop and create these tables with improved storage parameters. Do the same for indexes. 4. You will need to grant the appropriate object level privileges on these to ensure that all functions properly. Thank You Stephen P.
