Hi ratnesh, try this checks first :
1.Check if the GLOBAL_NAMES=TRUE in init.ora parameter. 2.In the sqlnet.ora check whether the WORLD domain is mentioned in both. 3.Tnsnames.ora file ,the database name should be test.world like that. 4.How are you creating the database link with which qualifier you are using?Are you using the world domain or simply creating the link with a particular domain. This is not clear. IF you can send me exactly how you are creating the database link in both the databases we can know where you went wrong. Anyway frist try the above check steps first.
