I asked recently how to provide nls_date_language within sqlloader config
file.
[EMAIL PROTECTED] provided the solution:
specify for the date column:
...
date_col "to_date(rtrim('Jan 15 1989 11:00:000AM',':000AM'),'Mon dd yyyy
hh:mi:ss','NLS_DATE_LANGUAGE = American')",
...
