Statspack report for a query is the following

Buffer Gets Executions Gets per Exec % Total

I did an explain plan for the same and the logical
blocks read count is 272. I do not understand how the
Buffer Gets in 61 executions can be 2.3 million. My
understanding is that buffer gets is the same as
logical block reads.
Any ideas why this is reported this way?
