"set Trimspool on" will only trim the empty spaces at the end of each line.
The only way i know to trim in between the lines is to concatenate all the columns SELECT column_1 || '|' || column_2..... FROM ..... Are you sure its set on ME@DB1 -> trimspool on SP2-0734: unknown command beginning "trimspool ..." - rest of line ignored.
