I think it's very possible. Run the Universal Installer once (interactively). Tar up the stuff under the product directory (all subdirectories including jre and 9.2.0.1).
Now you can use the tar file to install to another machine. Write a wrapper script that untars your image. I recommend Perl and the Expect perl module for this type of work. This combination (Perl with Expect module) makes telnet'ing and ftp'ing a snap. I haven't tried to do ssh and scp yet via this method but I suspect it's also possible. There are some gotchas to watch out for. You have to keep the ORACLE_HOME directory name the same. Don't expect things to work if you change the directory name. This used to be the case with 7.x but not any more since 8.1.x. If you are setting up web server, then I think you have to figure out where the host name is "hard-coded" into the config files. We have not had to worry about this, since we do not set up the web server as part of our database server installs.
