8.1.7. on WIN:

due to a bug - it seems - the following query returns an error:

SQL> SELECT TO_CHAR(SYSDATE, 'dd.mm.yyyy') from dual;
SELECT TO_CHAR(SYSDATE, 'dd.mm.yyyy') from dual
                                         *
ERROR at line 1:
ORA-00600: internal error code, arguments: [17182], [538241312], [], [],
[],
[], [], []

while it works fine on 8.0.5. and 8.1.6.!

does anyone know a way to change the query, so it will work on all
version and there is no need for a patch?
