You can try the following.  Substitute the name of the database for "ABCD"
in the awk command.  On a multi-cpu box, the sum can be more than %100.

ps -eo %cpu -o args | awk '$2 ~ /ABCD/ {sum = sum + $1}; END {print sum}'
