Not on HP-UX.  Since the processes have names like 'ora_smon_<SID>' when you try
to start the second instantiation of the database under the same sid you get an
error message about Oracle already running.

Is it possible For 2 Databases to be Brought up on the SAME machine with the
SAME ORACLE_SID 
from Different ORACLE_HOMEs ?

If so , how ?
