Jacques - I wonder if he was referring to STATSPACK in Oracle Version 9i? OpenWorld has a presentation on that. The other idea is that 9i has schema versioning, where users can check out a table, make changes to it, and then you can merge the changes back together.. Look under Database Workspace Management.

I couldn't see anything about that on Metalink, 9.2 / 9.0 new features guide, or through a Google search. Is there such a thing or did the colleague misread the name of a new feature? -- Please see the official ORACLE-L FAQ: http://www.orafaq.com -- Author: DENNIS WILLIAMS INET: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Fat City Network Services -- 858-538-5051 http://www.fatcity.com San Diego, California -- Mailing list and web hosting services --------------------------------------------------------------------- To REMOVE yourself from this mailing list, send an E-Mail message to: [EMAIL PROTECTED] (note EXACT spelling of 'ListGuru') and in the message BODY, include a line containing: UNSUB ORACLE-L (or the name of mailing list you want to be removed from).
