I remember when you had a weird application problem, one of the
first thing Oracle support ask you to check is the dual table to
see if it's got more than one row in it.
Don't know if they are still doing that.

I've seen that when I was a developper ...using 
Oracle 6/vax vms and Sql*Forms 2.3.

There was 2 rows in dual.

Since dual was heavily used when programming in
Forms2.3, it cause a big problem as no users were able
to log in (the menu was using dual). It was in the
stock exchange department of a big bank. Poor dba ...
