We've just started experiencing a problem where a client-server Forms 4.5 application hangs and then produces this error:
ORA-00600: internal error code, arguments: [kksscl-inf-inl-loop], [1500], [0], [1], [41], [41], [], [] Our database is version 9.2 and we found reference to a bug on metalink, 2316137, though we can't see the details. We are planning an off-hours upgrade to 9.2.0.2 which is said to fix this problem; in the meantime, we can clear up the condition causing this error by bouncing the instance. Then things work for a while until the error starts to occur again (last time it cleared up for about a week). Since it is several weeks before I can get the downtime to apply the upgrade, I'm wondering if anyone has had experience with this problem and whether there is a temporary fix short of updating the Oracle software.
