External LDAP Server supported by Oracle

Gurus,

If you could please share your thoughts, experiences, knowledge of LDAP server that is certified by Oracle for 9i. We want to replace existing tns files.OID is one solution. But any other product from other vendors, apart from oracle that can be used with 9i. Will highly appreciate any response.
