Paula - I'm no expert in this area, but since I didn't notice a reply to
your question . . . 
 
Are relational constraints defined on these tables? If yes, then you have a
simple task. If no, it is a bit more challenging. Recently someone here used
Sybase Powerdesigner on a 100-table schema that didn't have constraints
defined. The results were impressive. It managed to figure out correct
relationships for most of the tables.

map legacy data to RDBMS's - Oracle and SQL Server and normalized to

Really?  I don't remember such a requirement.  I think it works with or 
without MTS.

Is there a way to re-direct incoming database connection requests 
to another server? I believe Oracle Connection Manager can do this but it 
requires the database to be running in MTS mode. Is there another way?
