I've been saying all along that writing technical books is NOT the way to early retirement :)
I've done both authorship and technical editing. Both have advantages, both were done for several reasons, none of which included riches. In the case of the authorship, I wanted to help spread knowledge and make it easier for people to learn, so they wouldn't have to go through the painful self-taught process I had done. Both authorship and technical editing were easy ways for me to learn new stuff. I learn much better if I have a definite goal. --- DENNIS WILLIAMS <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > I have enjoyed reading the books from the authors who participate on > this > list.
