NO H-1B candidates please. *Description: Purpose This position will develop and maintain infrastructure components for this company's products. It requires a broad base of knowledge with significant expertise in administration, development, and tuning of both application and database components as a unit. Essential Job Functions Maintain infrastructure components including such things as login servers, in game systems (help, rewards, metrics), reporting systems, billing, registration, etc. This will require on call periods with a pager that will be rotated with other team members. Develop new infrastructure components as needs arise. *Requirements: -4 year Degree -Both full skillsets as an ORACLE DBA and Unix C++ Server programmer are required. *DBA skills needed are: ORACLE (5+ years experience) Production DBA experience. Expert with SQL level tuning. Expert with instance level tuning. Expert in storage tuning. Significant experience with replication. Significant knowledge of ORACLE internals. Ability to setup instance from blank OS on Unix platforms including Sizing calcs and setup TPS calcs and setup Hot backups SGA sizing PGA sizing SQL Server - must have the ability to convert SQL Server objects to ORACLE Data warehouse experience. *C++ Skills needed are: 3-5+ years experience with C/C++ and object oriented programming. Ability to build C/C++ applications in both Windows and Unix environments. Recent experience and use with all advanced OO concepts in C++ like templates and multi-level inheritance.
