I've set large_pool_size to 500K and parallel_automatic_tuning to true (thinking that parallel_auto... parameter will automatically increase the size of large pool if required. I was just checking sizes and utilization of pools ,& was surprised to see the size of large pool swollen upto 4096 MB with some 122K in use. Now my question is that why ain't oracle freeing up free memory.
