i was successfull in connecting to a Non oracle database from Oracle on unix through the Listener on Win NT. this situation arose b'cos we did not have a ODBC setup on Unix. So we had to do the ODBC as well as the Heterogeneous services setup on Win NT. and then try to connect from databse on Unix machine to this Listener on NT.
