Hi all, I am in the process of setting up an Oracle Database that is currently about 70Gb in size. The data is static except from a weekly load of about 20Mb of data. Each load goes into a new partition held in a separate tablespace. After the load the tablespace is changed to be read-only.
So my question is what backup options do I have. I would prefer not to have to backup the whole 70Gb everytime. Does this rule out hot-backups? Is this something i can do with RMAN? Any advice or pointers to documentation or good books very welcome. Thanks Ceri Townsend -- Ceri Database Admin mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] ICQ:153010767 "I love deadlines.
