try dbms_output.put_line('hello');
or
dbms_output.put_line('') after
dbms_output.put('hello');

I have a very simple code:
begin
dbms_output.enable(1000);
dbms_output.put('hello');
end;
but the dbms_output is not sending the output to the
screen. I've already stablished set serveroutput on
and also used set serverout on
and still not working, this is a very frequent
situation and suddenly it displays everything stored,
why is this happening? Is there some buffer that I
have to flush with a command? Do I miss something?
TIA
Gabriel Aragon
