Ramesh, since in your sig line you say you're brainbench and brainbuzz certified, do you really think those tests have any meaning, i took them and thought they were a joke.

You did not mentioned what OS you are working on.
If the remote database is on your network, even via wan, you can activate
all the tools from your desktop.
We use RAS to connect to remote servers without network connections and then
you have SLOW network connection and your tools will work.
If the need arise you can use Netop or other PcAnywhere to take control of
the server and do your work from there.

We are on windows servers and clients.
