Hi Listers,

I've just finished a sizing exercise for a Production OLTP.   At the one-year mark, it should
be approximately 4.5 Terabytes in size.  Yikes !!  I have a RAID5 array that I'll be using for
all of the data files (except the typical System, Rbs, etc which are going to be on RAID 0+1).

I plan on using RMAN to do backups, naturally, however, I'm wondering whether anyone has
run into any size limitations (from an RMAN perspective) when attempting to backup database
files that are over 100Gig in size.  (I have the situation where I expect a single table tol be over 100Gig
in size).  I'm aware of the fact that I may bump into hardware limitations, and I'm going to discuss
the hardware and tape limitations (if there are any) with my Sun server sys admin.

Thanks in advance,
Carol Legros
