That would work. I have done that in the past, by hanging a modem to the Console RS-232 port and dialing in. Loaded complete AIX 3.2.5, and Oracle 6.x from my office in Irving TX, while the server was in Everglades, FL. Worked fine, except it was a bit slow.. There was no GUI and Java stuff in that Oracle Installer ;)
