Freeman, Before I change it, listener.ora property is like the following: $ls -al listener.ora -rw-rw-r-- 1 oracle oinstall 1732613 Jul 18 16:02 listener.log After I change it by the following steps, it works fine. $chmod 666 listener.ora lsnrctl start
