Might
find something in your SID<ALRT>.log. This is in your
Oracle_home\admin\bdump directory. Might also find something in your
Oracle_home\network\log\listener.log depending on if any tracing is
enabled. I used to have this problem. Found that stopping and
restarting my listener service a few times a week took care of it. Also
adding more memory helped. I had a TAR with Oracle on this and they
recommended the stopping and restarting the listener service. I am on
windoze though so it may be a platform dependent thing, not like M$ has any
issues with their OS. ;o)
