The answer lies in every mail sent to the list:

To REMOVE yourself from this mailing list, send an E-Mail message
to: [EMAIL PROTECTED] (note EXACT spelling of 'ListGuru') and in
the message BODY, include a line containing: UNSUB ORACLE-L
(or the name of mailing list you want to be removed from).  You may
also send the HELP command for other information (like subscribing).

Read the above CAREFULLY!  With the HELP sent to the correct address, my
guess is that you'd be able to find the command that would allow you to see
that your own posts are not sent back to you.

It's just a guess...
