Jake - The syntax is create table test2 nologging as select * from test;
Taking the advice of the experts on this list, I decided to confirm this, I ran the query Mike Hatley posted a few days ago: select s.sid,s.value from v$sesstat s where s.statistic#=99 and s.value!=0 I found some interesting results I can't understand: Small table (75 rows) nologging - 673,776 (bytes??) Medium table (35,000 rows) nologging - 84,424 Medium table with default (logging) - 84,040 Can anyone offer a theory? Dennis Williams DBA, 80%OCP, 100% DBA Lifetouch, Inc.
