It is the snp equivalent ...in 9i rel2 there is a job coordinator process and based on the job_queue_processes parameter ...that many jnnn processes.

I've noticed a new type of background process in my 9iR2
databases. It's name is ora_j00n_<SID>. Does anyone
know what this process is? Any links to Docs?
