Subject: dbms_application_info rewrite

Greetings,

I have a web application that uses dbms_application_info to set an
identifier for each client session. I want to write my own wrapper for this
and replace its synonym to facilitate 10046 tracing. So far I haven't been
able to figure out the exact syntax of the rewrite, to maintain the
functionality of sys.dbms_application_info and to pass it the correct
parameters. Has anyone else done something like this? I am working on 9i
Solaris.

Thanks,

Josh
