Tell me about it! I've had exaclty the same experience about several years ago. Even though I was leading tech part of every critical project and was the contact whenever a serious problem occurred, the employer paid higher salary to all other team members because they were over 10 years older than me, they had 15 years of experience instead of my 3, but they couldn't do much more than standard database administration like adding datafiles and such with their "experience". That was quite frustrating... but no problem anymore, now I'm on my own and pay my own salary ;) Tanel. -- Please see the official ORACLE-L FAQ: http://www.orafaq.net -- Author: Tanel Poder INET: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Fat City Network Services -- 858-538-5051 http://www.fatcity.com San Diego, California -- Mailing list and web hosting services --------------------------------------------------------------------- To REMOVE yourself from this mailing list, send an E-Mail message to: [EMAIL PROTECTED] (note EXACT spelling of 'ListGuru') and in the message BODY, include a line containing: UNSUB ORACLE-L (or the name of mailing list you want to be removed from).
