The TCP connection to Oracle server process (or dispatcher) port probably remains alive for some reason. When TCP connection is dropped from OS, the session dies immediately. So you should check why are sessions TCP connections maintained or set sqlnet.expire_time to one hour or smth, to kill sessions after an hour even if TCP connection for given session is still open.   Tanel.   ----- Original Message ----- From: AK To: Multiple recipients of list ORACLE-L Sent: Wednesday, August 27, 2003 9:09 PM Subject: oracle sessions from term server Hi Guys , we have forms/report application installed on  windows terminal servers and user access application from these terminal servers .
