RE: 3113 error

Did you check for tracefiles?  I've often found them (usually with a different error code) after receiving an ORA-3113 error.

when i am trying to refresh mviews on a 9.2.0.3 database from 8i database i get 3113 end-of-file-comminication-channel.complete refresh also fails with the same error

 

the above refresh has been running fine for sometime and and today this problem has started coming up. i even tried dropping the mv, but the same 3113 error pops up..

 

 traced this session and i find the trace file seems to be "cut" at sys.dbms_snapshot_utl.set_up

 

any ideas as to how to fix this
