Subject: equivalent for isdate, isnumeric
Hi All,
I am investigating an effort to move our product into Oracle from SQL Server. Came across the function isnumeric, isdate in SQL Server that returns true or false if the input string is in a form that can be converted into a numeric or date type. searched in oracle help and am not able to find an equivalent. Is there any equivalent form of these functions in Oracle??
Thanks,
ShivaM
