I am trying to order my xmlagg function in oracle and the documented
query doesn't work.
SELECT XMLELEMENT("Department",
XMLAGG( XMLELEMENT("Employee", e.job_id||' '||e.last_name)
ORDER BY last_name))
as "Dept_list"
FROM employees e
WHERE e.department_id = 30;
Disconnected from Oracle9i Enterprise Edition Release 9.2.0.1.0 -
Production
With the OLAP and Oracle Data Mining options
JServer Release 9.2.0.1.0 - Production
Any ideas would be a great help.
