Thomas To me, the main benefits are in manageability. I feel in most circumstances the performance benefits will be small. As an approach, I have created all new tables in LMT with uniform extents over the last several years. I have moved tables that grow steadily to LMT. I have left a lot of older, static tables in dictionary-managed for the time being, but overall that is probably under 5% of the storage. My theory is don't mess with stuff that works.
