Help! We are in the
middle of an Oracle licencing audit fight and there is confusion about what (if
any) additional licences we need to buy.
Currently we have 85
concurrent licences for 11i and the database. The problem is that two of the 11i
options require and use partitioning. We (and the company we hire to manage our
production database) are under the assumption that when we bought the 11i option
we would be licenced for the database options they require.
Any insight into the
Oracle Licencing nightmare would be appreciated.
