Ron Version 8i. The Oracle password complexity routine is activated if you run the rdbms/admin/utlpwdmg.sql It basicaly checks for passwords from a common name list, checks if the password contains at least one char, one digit, and one punctuation. It also checks if the new is different by > 3 letters than the last.
