It's another RDBMS... only runs on OpenVMS VAX and Aplha. Used to be owned by DEC and sold to Oracle a few years back (quite a few years now). Has many features in common with Oracle Server some of which originally came from Oracle Rdb and were implemented later on in Oracle Server.
